Miss Brittany started dancing when she was four years old with Kids Edition & Dy.nam.x. in Visalia. For 10 years she performed all over Tulare County with the group, singing and dancing in Christmas parades, at the Visalia Mall, the corn maze, several local churches and even Disneyland. In high school, Brittany was part of the Golden West Dance Team for 3 years and danced hip hop, tap, jazz and ballet at Dance Arts for 2 years. Brittany was also elected as choreographer for the Golden West choirs her senior year of high school where she put together dances for Women’s Choir, Blazer Choir, and Chamber Singers. She also has a love for musical theater. She has performed in numerous musicals over the years such as Peter Pan, Hairspray, Beauty & the Beast, Matilda, Annie and many others; frequently in leading roles. Miss Brittany continued her dance career in college by joining the Jubilation Dance Ministry Club’s advanced ballet class and her sophomore year was selected to join the leadership team for the club as their musical theater instructor. In college, Miss Brittany performed multiple dances in each end of the year recital, student choreography showcases and the Jubilations Dance Ministry showcase as well as travelled with a select group of dancers to the American College Dance Association Regional Conferences. All this, and dance wasn’t her major, it wasn’t even her minor. Post college, she has continued performing in local musicals, and started with iDance Co. in 2016 as a substitute teacher and started on as a regular teacher in fall of 2017.

Payton's dance journey began when she was nine years old in her hometown of Paso Robles, Ca. She began training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, tap, musical theater and modern. She was a member of the Paso Robles Chamber Ballet Company as well as on competition groups at her home studio. Through her training, she has had the opportunity to travel to Washington, Arizona, Texas, and statewide to attend festivals, workshops, and competitions. Growing up, she also danced in productions of The Nutcracker, Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, and other original works which not only made her fall in love with dancing but performing as well.
Payton was also a member of the Fresno State Dance Team for three years. During her time on the team, she had the opportunity to travel to the Mountain West Championship in 2022 and Bowl games in Idaho, New Mexico, and Los Angeles. Her experience on the team opened her up to new styles of dance as well as broadened her technique foundation. She still loves any opportunity she gets to cheer on the Bulldogs!
Payton started teaching when she was fifteen years old and was the director of the mini competition team at her home studio for three years. This is where she fell in love with teaching. She feels incredibly blessed to still have dance be a major aspect of her life and that she gets to share her passion and love with young dancers.
Payton will graduate Fresno State University in May of 2025 obtaining a degree in Business Administration with an option in Marketing.
